Social Empowerment Programs through CDTP Community Development Through Polytechnics (Scheme of CDTP) financed by MHRD Govt. of India. is running in our Institution. We have 9 extension centers for the implementation of the program. Under the head of Skill Development Training program 989 Persons were trained under different courses such as Ornaments Making and Pot Painting, Electrical Embroidery, Electrical Wiring, Fashion Designing, Computer Based Accounting, Beautician, tailoring and Fabric Painting. In which 481 persons are wage/self employed in the last year. Under the head of Appropriate Technology Transfer we had conducted training in Fabric Painting, Jam Squash & Pickle Making, Waste Material Article Making and Bio Gas Plant Installation and Maintenance. Under the head of Technical and Support Services the programs conducted are Consultancy to LSGD, Inspection and Maintenance of House Wiring to the Tribes, Electronics Service Camp, Football Training to Villagers and Training to Club of SHG. Under the head of Dissemination of Information the programs conducted are Awareness Seminar on Drug addiction, Rain Water Harvesting and Water Management and Energy Conservation(Distribution of Pamphlet).
